Heidi came across some kittens that had been abandoned, so she took them home to care for them until suitable homes could be found. Above is one upside-down example of the kittens. There are a total of six.
Great Scott, James! First your own cat has kittens (which visitors were "invited" to "take your pick!") and then you "allow" a rabbit in the house, but now you have "adopted" a litter of stray kittens!!
[P.S.--How about adopting a poor old Great Grandpa?][He will "discourage" garden invasions by deer and midnight raids on the chickens by large, wild felines!]
