Does anybody else do this: Move the kitchen-sink water faucet so that it pours down the side of the sink-divider, in order to make less noise? Or is it just me? Just curious.

Yes, I do that all the time. I didn't think of it as reducing noise as much as it reduced the splattering, not that it matters much if water splatters in the sink.
I have done that in the past, I haven't done it recently. What about wrapping a towel around the bathtub faucet so the water doesn't drop so far and make so much noise for a bath. Must be a "family thing" because Angela said that eccentricity just isn't in her bailiwick.

It reduces noise AND rinses off the rest of the the non-tub sink areas too, around the faucets etc.
Funny!
