Wow, first grade, whew!
I started first grade at "The Cathedral School" finished it at Longfellow public school in Sioux Falls. After that it was 2nd grade with Miss Hadly at Longfellow Elementary and then in 1960 3rd grade with Miss Obr also at Longfellow Elementary; 4th (Mrs. Fleming), 5th (Sister Arthur)seriously true "Sister Arthur!", 6th (Sister Carol), 7th can't recall her name, but I think it starts with an "S", 8th (Sister Eleanor)grade at St. Mary's. 9th grade at McKnight Jr. High in Renton, 10th -12th at Renton High where I met Bop-op! Wow it went too fast! Be sure and take your time and enjoy it Jamey G.!
After that more school at the University of Washington! Who could imagine I would still like school so much? In fact I am reading an academic book today! I still do love studying. Hope you will too Jamey G.
Lemme see if I can do this... St Pauls 1st - Sister Ann Theres (spelling?) 2nd - Ms Goslee (I got glasses) 3rd - Ms Gearhart (drank honey and pulled my hair) 4th - Ms Clinton (nothing special) 5th - Ms Schroeder (loved the Broncos) Lakeridge Elementary 6th - Ms Funai (painted my fingernails black and met Tony) Dimmit Middle School 7th, 8th Renton High School 9th-12th Highline Community College University of Washington Now I am getting my masters in Parenthood. Still a long ways off.
Good luck Jamey! It seems like a long time going but it is worth it.
I can see the family resemblance, inspired by the way his hair is combed. Check out the 1932 black and white photo on the ZWise web site for comparison.

Re: the 1932 photo -- WOW!! I see the similarity between Jamey G. and Uncle Bob in that old photo.
Anyway, this is one of the best photos of Jamey G that I have seen for a long time. I don't have any this good.
Congratulations, Jamey on this important occasion in your educational endeavors.
P.S.-- I can't begin to remember the details of my school years as others have done above!!
