Liberation

I have gazed upon my redeemer, and its name is Caterpillar.

A charming fellow by the name of Badger drove a machine up our driveway today that looked a bit like this:

With this machine under him the snow on our driveway gave way as though it was air.

We now have a path out of here, and we may just be able to keep our holiday appointments.

That is some amazing snow volume. It looks like something we see at Snoqualmie Pass, or Mt Rainier. A couple more feet deep of snow and you won't be able to see the beetle at all!

Hey, I haven't seen the Saturn in any of your photos. Did the caterpillar scrape it away?

Seriously, that was a wonderful thing Badger did, to liberate you mountain folks from your snowy prison.

I'm with Heidi though; no amount of snow is too much. I wish I could be trapped there with you. I'd bring my snowshoes.

Thank goodness. I was getting antsy for you all. I love the snow but after nearly a week, I am going a little batty.

You are really leaving yourself wide open on this one, don't you think!!

I am glad you now can get out! That is really good news.

Glad to hear you got out. I didn't go to work yesterday because when I went out to my car the snow was up to my bumper and our road is not plowed so I knew I would have to push snow and figured it wasn't worth getting stuck. Called the boss and he was already at work and told me to stay home.
