I love the pix of the talent show! Colette was in hers too on Thursday evening, singing in front of the crowd. What courage at age 10!! It is impressive that Jamey did an original work!! Looking forward to hearing about future talent shows!
I'd like to hear or read BeeBoo's poem. And I'd like to know what Arthur's science project was. I recognize BeeBoo's science project, and the sieve from the kitchen.
Hey, that's the blue-headed bird I saw at your feeder when I was there! Nice job identifying it. The photo in my bird book doesn't look like it, but the photo you posted does.
Were those raccoons just visiting, or are you keeping them? They're probably not compatible with chickens, but GMaZ had a pet badger, so she might know if such animals can be trained to leave the chickens alone. I know she has a lot of stories to tell about that badger, and I even have a photo of her with it.
Thanks Jame for the photos of the boys. The Raccoon kits are certainly adorable; I have a niece in WY who raises and trains baby raccoons that she later sells for some spending money. I may see her later this summer and I will pose BopOp's question about the compatibility of chickens and tamed/trained raccoons.
Like BobOp, Grumpy will look forward to seeing/hearing Jamey's poem about aphids.

What is the story with the raccoons? Did you find them in the woods? In a cereal box, under your bed? What?
Grandma Theresa
The raccoons are being raised by a local resident as a rescue effort.
The boys liked getting to hold them.
